Westmoreland Elementary Earth Day

The 3rd & 4th graders did a wonderful job performing the "Earth Day Carol" play today at Life Skill Tuesday. Guest, Christie Hitch from Tri-County waste was in attendance. She donated back the $100.00 the kids received from a grant given by Farmer's State Bank to help pay for the recycling service. Rock Creek Baseball Players Give Back to the Community

The Rock Creek Varsity Baseball Players recently visited Westmoreland Elementary to read to the students.  This is part of the program set up to get the players involved with both elementary schools in the district and give back to the communities by reading to students.  Not only are they reading to the students, they are developing friendships with the younger students as they visit the schools. NHS Service Projects

Wanted: Read and Alive!

National Scholastic Award Winner

Congratulations to NATIONAL Scholastic Award-“ Silver Medalist”,  Miranda Warnow.  Miranda’s Gold medal artwork from State Scholastic Competition was sent to Nationals in New York City to compete with other Gold Medalists from our state and each of the other states.  Only 13 winners were chosen at Nationals from the state of Kansas. This is a very elite competition that allows on the best Gold medal . . .
