Wrap Up on Nutrition

Forensics End of Season Wrap-Up

The Rock Creek Forensics team finished a successful season by taking 6 th place out of 50 schools at the state tournament on April 30 th .  Ethan Sylvester led the way for the Mustangs, winning second place in informative speaking with his speech about Legos.   Cassidy Cheever and Rachel Askew finished off highly successful forensics careers with a 3 rd place finish in duet acting.   First year students Vaylnn . . .

Wanted: Read and Alive!

Reading = More options for a better life!  The third and fourth grade students and teachers at Westmoreland Elementary would like to announce our plans to practice community service by setting up a Little Free Library on Main Street in Westmoreland.  We chose this project for two reasons.  First, we’ve been learning about how challenging it is for many people around the world to access books in order to gain the power . . .

Westmoreland Elementary Earth Day

The 3rd & 4th graders did a wonderful job performing the "Earth Day Carol" play today at Life Skill Tuesday. Guest, Christie Hitch from Tri-County waste was in attendance. She donated back the $100.00 the kids received from a grant given by Farmer's State Bank to help pay for the recycling service. Christie also added one more recycling bin for the school since we keep the other two bins so full. Thanks again 3rd & . . .

Rock Creek Baseball Players Give Back to the Community
