The Parents as Teachers families had the opportunity to make a ceramic plate or dish at Rinda's Ceramics in Wamego as a spring activity. The turn-out was terrific and children enjoyed using hands and brushes to create a one-of-a-kind special item for their parents or themselves. While the children enjoyed the artistic process immensely, the parents practiced the art of patience and perseverance, too!
