The
Scholastic Book
Fair is
coming
to
school!!
The Scholastic Buy One Book Get One Free Book Fair is May 5 - May 10, 2008, from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM on Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Fri, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, and during the school carnival on May 10.
A Buy One Book Get One Free Book Fair is a special thank-you Fair that Scholastic is offering our school this year so we can place a book in every hand of every student —one for each hand! You get twice the amount of books for half the price. As always, Scholastic Book Fairs offers quality products to your family and our community to help us encourage recreational reading with our children.
You will also have the opportunity to get a book or two for your child’s
classroom and thank your child’s teacher, while building a classroom library with the Classroom Wish List program. Look for the Classroom Wish List program at our Book Fair. The titles are hand picked by each teacher as desired library selections for their classrooms. In addition to the Classroom Wish List, we will also be participating in a classroom penny drive competition to support the One for Books program sponsored by Scholastic. Scholastic will match the One for Books money raised with a donation of up to a million books to three nonprofit programs devoted to improving reading skills among children: Kids in distressed Situations, National Center for Family Literacy, and Toys for Tots. The homeroom that collects the most money towards One for Books will earn $50 in free books from the book fair for their classroom library.
Our Buy One Book Get One Free Book Fair gives you the opportunity to add twice as many books to your child’s classroom library and home library at a great value. We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event!
Check out our Book Fair Home Page for more Buy One Get One Free Book Fair information including books that will be available and progress towards our fair goal.
