Enrollment Time!

                                    School Starts August 14

 

It’s hard to believe it’s that time again!  Rock Creek USD 323 will enroll NEW students on Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 5th.

 

Returning Students:

ALL returning students should enroll by mail.  Packets will be sent to you by July 25, 2008.   Parent/Guardian(s) should complete the forms and return them, with enrollment fees, no later than Friday, August 1st.

Rock Creek Jr. Sr. High students who require a schedule change must meet with school personnel on one of the enrollment days.  Otherwise all materials should be returned, with fees, no later than Friday, August 1st.

Supplies lists should be available under each school’s tab, then by selecting the Parent Info tab.

OUT OF DISTRICT STUDENTS:

            All requests by out-of-district students for attendance in U.S.D. 323 schools, must be made to the appropriate attendance center principal during the August 4 & 5, 2008 enrollment.  These requests will go to the board of education on August 13, 2008.

 

QUESTIONS:

All other questions may be directed to the school offices:  Rock Creek Jr. Sr. High at 494-8591 or 457-3688, St. George Elementary at 494-2482, Westmoreland Elementary at 457-3462 or the District Office at 457-3732 between 8:00 – 4:00.

 

NEW STUDENTS:

St. George Elementary will see new students in the office between 2:00 – 6:00 pm on August 4th and 5th.

Westmoreland Elementary will see new students in the cafeteria between 2:00 – 6:00 pm on August 4th and 5th.

Rock Creek Jr. Sr. High will meet with new students in the cafeteria between 3:00 – 7:00 pm on August 4th and 5th

All kindergarten students who attended round-up must provide updated immunization records, signed health assessment and proof of identity (certified birth certificate) by August 1st

Transfer students and those kindergarten students who did not attend round-up, must provide proof of identity at enrollment.  A certified birth certificate is required for all pre-kindergarten through second grade students.  Students in grades 3-12 may provide a certified transcript, baptismal certificate or other appropriate identification.  Transfer students must provide proof of health assessment (grades Pre-K – 6th grade) and updated immunization records within 30 days of the date of enrollment.  ALL new students should bring the student’s social security card for records purposes.
