Mustang Express May '09
As the 2008-09 school year comes to a close......it was certainly THE YEAR OF THE ROCK!  "Rock Creek is an outstanding school in many ways. The first and most important reason is the administration. It starts with them and their dedication to the students at Rock Creek High School. On Monday May 4, 2009 if you were not at The Rock (otherwise known as Rock Creek High School) for the activity/athletic banquet, you missed the most outstanding array of events to be recognized by the leaders of our school. In a society full of negative stories about teenagers, those present were rewarded with nothing less than “cheers and tears” at what happened this year at Rock Creek......"

Mustang Express April '09♦  Prom Memories 2009.  ♦  New 2009-2010 cheerleaders announced.  ♦  Costa Rica trip planned for Spanish-taking students Summer 2010.  ♦  FFA busy with competitions in Environment, Dairy Foods, Food Science, Poultry, Floriculture, Livestock Judging, Ag Communications, Job Interview.  ♦  FCCLA members participate in State Leadership Showcase.  ♦  Students are Rockin' at the Rock!

♦  Four RC Seniors sign with Cloud County Community College-- Keegan Rawhouser, Luis Gonzalez, and Matt Gee for baseball; Ashley Garetson for track.  ♦  BPA State Leadership Conference qualifies four Rock Creek students for National Leadership Conference in Dallas.  ♦  Books! Books! Books!  Donate unwanted books to the Floersch Media Center.  ♦  Mid-East League Art Contest awards announced.  ♦  Rockin' at the Rock.

♦  Student Teachers in Chemistry, Ag and History classrooms at Rock Creek.  ♦  After Prom Committee in need of donations and volunteers!  ♦  FCCLA members attended District D's STAR events-- Students Taking Action with Recognition.  ♦  Check out the many event and scholarship opportunities in the Counselor's Notes.  ♦  Rockin' at the Rock recognizes our students for their participation in Art, Wrestling, Forensics, Debate, Scholars Bowl and many other activities-- check it out.!
