Welcome to Music Class!

Music teaches you to read, sing, play an instrument, learn  foreign languages, decode fractions, pattern, and much more - music stretches your brain and helps you learn!

About me:  This is my 14th year at St. George Elementary and 16 year in the Rock Creek School District. I've done more than 30 years of teaching in KS public schools at all levels. My husband and I have two grown & married children and two beautiful grandchildren!

Music Memory

This is a music listening curriculum which teaches the students 16 pieces of music from most of the stylistic periods. 

Here's what we've learned so far:

William Tell Overture: Rossini

Summertime by Gershwin

Gymnopedie No. 1 by Satie

In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg

Toccata and Fugue in d minor by Bach

Requiem:  Confutatis by Mozart

 Honor Choir 

We will be rehearsing from 3:30-4:30 every Thursday unless there is no school.

District H. C. students will practice from 4:30-5:00 on  Dec. 4^th, Dec. 11^th, and every Thurs in January.
