Summer 2008 Update

RCHS students will receive official 2008-09 class schedules, along with various enrollment forms, in late July. Those students with class schedule questions may contact me during new student enrollment at RCHS from 3 – 7 p.m. on Aug 4th or Aug 5th.
Several RCHS students were selected to participate in various summer enrichment activities:
Devin Nelson – Cadet Law Enforcement Academy / June 1-6 (Salina, KS)
Morgan Eichman – Sunflower Girls State / June 3-8 (University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS)
Samuel Cott – HOBY Leadership Seminar / June 12-15 (Wichita State University, Wichita, KS)
Tyrel Britton, Alex Hennigh, Cody Husson, and Brenda Stevenson – Upward Bound Summer Program / June 1 – July 11 (Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS)
Interested/qualified juniors and seniors will again be afforded opportunities to enroll in Highland Community College concurrent credit classes at RCHS during the 2008-09 school term. In addition to Anatomy, Physics, and Public Speaking, students may also enroll in Psychology, US History I/II, US Government, and State & Local Politics. Concurrent credit class enrollment/fee payment information will be shared with students via their respective classes at the outset of the fall semester.
