On October 5, the R.C.H.S. National Honor
Society inducted nine new members. The new members, who include 1
senior, 5 juniors, and 3 sophomores, are: Ashley Altenhofen, Lane
Frazier, Katie Good, Jana Havens, Chase Minihan, T.J. Minihan, Adam
Schmitz, Colten Smith, and Jessica Snapp. Following a speech by
principal, Dennis Post, the inductees recited a pledge to continue
their example of good character, service, and scholarship. Four of
these fine students demonstrated their dedication to N.H.S. by
working at a concession stand the next evening.
Currently the organization is finalizing plans to honor
the teaching staff at Rock Creek during American Education Week
which begins Nov. 11. In December, the NHS carolers will join up
with the B.P.A. members and travel to the Westy Care Home to share
Christmas spirit with the residents.
